Here at Domestique we recently got ahold of these stylish Vittoria shoes. Certainly not Vittoria’s most expensive pair, but well worth a look if you’re in the market for new shoes. They seem like a comfortable fit but won’t know for sure till more miles get logged on them. Until then, I have provided a bit of eye candy.

Cervélo Test Team – Beyond the Peloton
When I first saw these I was quite happy; a kid in a candy store with glowing eyes fixed on that wonderous Wonka bar. In actuality I was just glad someone had documented the beginnings of a small team struggling through rough waters. Hearing that the Cervélo Test Team was the only team in a very long time to be fully sponsored and closely knit with an actual bicycle manufacturer (and not a bank) only got me that much more excited. This is the team I had been waiting to follow, especially when Sastre announced he would be part of it and with a string of amazing riders it seems like what first was a story of underdogs, became something great.

Brooks B57 Swallow (circa 1950)
About two years ago I picked up this saddle in hopes of cleaning it up and a little leather wax and some polishing went a long way. Last season it saw some miles then I put it out of commission, in hopes of it magically repairing itself. This model was Brooks way of lightening up their line in the early 50’s, aluminum backplate and stainless rails, finished with beautiful side stitching.
Recently Brooks has re-launched their site and added some beautiful pieces to their collection.
