Last month I was very happy to find out that the wonderful Belgian Knee Warmers was back up and running. The most recent post is a wonderful little piece about Roubaix, take a peek.

Found over at Makr, who make some wonderful stuff.

I have to say, I am normally not a huge fan of most Treks, but this one is done pretty tastefully. I’ve been wanting to test ride a belt drive and would not mind giving this lady a spin around the block.
Found over at Limited Hype.

Jens over at Neueck Custombikes was kind enough to send us a few snapshots from the newest Speedmetal he has just completed. It looks amazingly nice and at 6.8kg for the build it should be one classy, steel race machine.
“A few days ago, I finished a new, much lighter version of the Speedmetal. The complete Bike will be a UCI killer. Sub 6,8 Kilo. The frame is partial brushed and clear coated. The headbadge is made from solid silver.” – Jens
I can’t wait to see this beauty built up in all its glory! Keep a lookout for it in the coming months.

Mr. Bob Roll tearin it up at Paris-Roubaix; 1989.

I’ve had this old Campy cotton cap and it has been my only hat in the drawer, so I decided to grab a new one; one that would be a little more suited for early spring/fall rides. Wool seemed like the obvious choice, and I just wanted something plain, until I saw this plaid Castelli. Plaid has it’s place in all things Americana, and being a deep lover of Americana I couldn’t help but add some backwoods flair to the european born sport. So far this is one of my favorite caps I have worn and the wool regulates the temp of your head perfectly. You can get it (10% off) at Bike Tires Direct, or find a local retailer here.

I didn’t realize you could apply embrocation all-over. Maybe that’s why he’s making that face; love the burn.
